My prostate was removed due to cancer at age 51. The good news was that all the cancer was removed and that after recovery I was not incontinent. The very bad news is that I am completely impotent. At least it was bad for me - not so much for my wife. It has taken many years for me to realize that my wife doesn’t enjoy orgasms or any sexual activity at all. The first hint of this was when she told me that any oral sex was banned early in our marriage. She only allowed “normal sex”, meaning only the missionary position.
After the prostate surgery, it became obvious that she had no interest in helping me overcome ED by trying the non-surgical techniques suggested by the doctors. I finally just asked if she just didn’t enjoy sex. She said that was true.
So what’s a guy to do? If you are reading this, I’m sure you know - masturbation. But how does a guy masturbate when he can’t get an erection? It didn’t take long for me to learn how.
