How do I join SoloTouch.com?
Click on any signup link or click here. Choose whether you want a Free or Premium account. You'll be prompted to enter a username, password and your email address (and payment information for a Premium account). Please check your email, including spam after joining. You will need to confirm your signup for Free accounts and your payment confirmation receipt will be sent to you for Premium accounts.

I have a membership to the old Solotouch site, but I can't login.
Prior to login at new site, you need to register. You can do so here. It takes less than a minute and you can use your old username and password if you'd like.

I've joined, but can't login. What happened?
You must confirm your Free signup before you'll be allowed to login. A confirmation email will be sent to the email you used to signup. Did you check your spam folder? Please use non-aol and non-yahoo email addresses as we have delivery issues for these addresses - which means your confirmation email will not arrive. Please use a different email address or contact us and we can activate your account.

How old do I need to be to join SoloTouch.com?
SoloTouch.com is an adult site and you need to be at least 18 years of age or older to join.

I'm having technical problems. Who do I tell?
Please contact us and let us know what the problem is and give a page example if relevant, so we can find and fix the problem more quickly.
For additional instructions on a specific feature, please contact one of our mods or admins and they can help you.

Can I set up multiple accounts?
No. Members are only allowed to have one account. The creation or maintainance of multiple identities is not supported at SoloTouch. This will be considered trolling. Multiple accounts will be deleted without notice by moderators.

I see an inappropriate comment/image/story/post. How do I report it?
There is a red flag icon by every user submission. You can click this to file a report to be reviewed by our admins/mods. All reports are private. We do appreciate your help in letting us know of any offensive or inappropriate content.

I'd like to make the font at the site bigger or smaller. How can I do that?
We don't currently have a functionality for you to change the font at the site. However, you can make the font in your browser bigger by clicking ctrl + plus sign (+) or make the font in your browser smaller by clicking ctrl + minus sign (-).




PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP ANSWERS:



What is the difference between a Free and Premium account?
In addition to all Free features and functions, Premium users also have access to Multi-User Audio + Video Chat, Game Zone, 1,000's of stories outside of the masturbation genre and access to our Videos section where you can view, upload, rate and comment videos.

How does the Premium membership work?
Your membership will automatically rebill for the same amount and during the same term as your original membership. For example, your one-month membership will rebill every 30 days. Your 3 month membership will rebill every 90 days and so on. When you cancel, it means that you will not be rebilled, but you will continue to have Premium access for the remainder of your subscription.
Once your Premium membership has expired, you will continue to have access to your Free account and features.

How do I cancel my Premium membership?
You may cancel your Premium membership here. Simply enter your username and password and one of the other fields. Of course, we are always happy to help, so if you need assistance, simply contact us.

What is a premium story and why is there a difference?

Where are the archives?
From the Story Search box on the right side of the home page or any story page, you can search Browse By: Date and choose the Month and Year of the stories you'd like to read. There is the same functionality on the techniques pages.

How do I view stories in a specific category or only those submitted by men or women?
Using the Search Box, choose the category of the stories you'd like to view. Any category starting with Male was submitted by a male. Any category starting with Female was submitted by a female. In addition, you can block certain story categories from ever appearing in your view. Go to the Hide Story Categories Section and choose the categories you don't want to appear in your view. You may change these settings at any time.

How do I submit a story or technique?
If you would like for the story to be associated with your account, you must be registered and logged in to submit to Solotouch.com. If you are not logged in and submit a story, it will be posted under "Anonymous". (There is an option for you to enter an author name when submitting under Anonymous.)
If you would like your submission associated with your account, after logging in, you can submit directly from your account using the submit tab or any submit button on the site. Stories and Techniques are submitted in the same form. You will have an option to choose the category from the story submission page.

What are the submission rules?

How long will it take for my story to be posted?
All stories and techniques are reviewed for content before publishing, in the order received. The time to publish is generally 5-7 days, but that may vary depending on submission quantities.

What if my story was rejected?
If your story was rejected, it did not follow one or more of our content rules. If you'd like to correct the errors or content so it complies with our rules and resubmit your story, please do so. We welcome that.

How can I edit one of my stories?
Please contact us and include the link of your story and the changes you'd like implemented.

How can I delete one of my stories?
We can help you with that. Just contact us and include the story title and link to the story. Please write from the email account used when registering your account so we can confirm story ownership. Let us know if you'd like the story deleted or changed to author: Anonymous.

How can I prevent various story categories from showing to me?
You may choose story categories to be hidden from your view. Go to My Account > Settings > Hide Story Categories and choose the categories you do not want to see.

Why can't I read some of the stories?
Some of the stories are listed under Premium categories as they have themes outside of masturbation. To read Premium category stories, you must be a Premium user. (Note: If you submit Premium category stories and they are published, you will need to be a Premium member to view those stories. If you are a prolific author (10+ stories/year), contact us and we will give you Premium status for free.)




USER INTERACTION ANSWERS:



How do I add someone as a friend?
Rolling over any other members' avatar or username will cause a dropdown menu to appear. Choose Add to Friends and the user, after accepting your request, will appear in your friends list. The user will remain in your Sent Invitation area until they accept your friend request.
You may unfriend any of your friends by going to your friends list, rolling over that user's avatar in your My Friends section and clicking Unfriend.
The Search bar in your friends list is also helpful in searching for new friends or easily finding friends already in your list.

How do I accept someone's friend request?
Login and go to your friends list at My Account > My Friends. You will see a New Invitation section with your pending friend requests. Rollover the user name and choose Accept or Reject.
You cannot accept a friend request from the friends' profile page. You must accept friend request from YOUR friends' page here.

How can I block someone?
Blocking someone will stop them from directly contacting you in various methods throughout the site. This includes mail messages and pokes. (NOTE: Blocking a member will not block them in the main, public chatroom.) You can block any user in a number of ways. Anytime you rollover a user icon/name, you will see a dropdown menu with "block" as an option. Clicking that will add that user to your blocked list in your friends section.
If the blocked user is in your friends list, they will still be visible in your friends list (while also listed in your blocked list).
You may unblock any one in your Blocked list by clicking Unblock from the dropdown menu viewed by rolling over their profile.
You may also unfriend friends by choosing Unfriend from the dropdown.

How can I stop people from messaging me?
Under My Account > Settings > Settings/Privacy you can adjust your settings so that only friends may contact you.

How can I stop people from messaging me in chat or watching me on cam?
In the right sidebar of the chat is a Users column. Click on the user you want to block. From the menu, you can add a user to your block list, or prohibit them from viewing you (if you are both premium users with cam functionality).




PROFILE ANSWERS:



How do I change my avatar?
From nearly any page where your avatar is present in the top left, you can click Edit My Profile and then Change Avatar. Or you may go to My Account > Profile > Change Avatar.

What kind of images can I use for my avatar?
Please see our image rules page for image posting rules. We do not allow genital nudity in our avatar images.

How do I change my privacy settings?
Visit My Account and click the Settings Tab. From there you will see Settings/Privacy.

How can I add a story/technique to my favorites list?
Your favorites list makes it easy to find your favorite stories and/or techniques to read time after time. When reading any story or technique click the image. The story or technique will be added to your favorites list under the relevant Stories or Techniques section under My Account.

How does the reading queue work?
When reading any story or technique click the image. The story or technique will be added to your reading queue under the relevant Stories or Techniques section under My Account. As you click a story or technique from My Reading Queue, it will be removed from the list. You may reorder items in your list by clicking on the image and dragging it to the desired position.

How do I follow an author?
When reading any story or technique click the image. That author will be added to the Authors I Follow section under the relevant Stories or Techniques tab under My Account. When that author publishes a story or technique you will be notified.

CHAT ANSWERS:



What if I can't get the chat to load?
DESKTOP: You MUST allow Flash. You may be prompted by your browser or you may have to change your browser settings. Click yes if prompted or Google how to allow Flash for your particular browser. Chat will NOT work unless you allow Flash.

MOBILE: When accessing chat on your mobile device, you will automatically be sent to the text only mobile friendly version of the site. If you wish, you can access the full functionality site by clicking the Desktop version link. You MUST use Puffin browser to utilize the Flash functionality on your phone.
If you are using the full chat on a Kindle device or another where the Puffin browser is not available, you will need to use the flash supported browser for that device. (Dolphin). Just google "how to view flash on my XX device" and you should get some great instructions.

How do I use video chat?
When you login to chat, you will be prompted with a message that says: the site wants to use your camera and/or microphone. Click Allow.
Once you've logged into a chatroom in the right-side column there is a list of online Users. You will see a webcam icon next to the Premium users who have video functionality. Click on the user and some options will pop up, including the option to Show Cam of that user. You can watch more than one user at a time and their cam feed will open in your chat window.

You can see who is watching you under the Who's Watching Me menu under Users.

Only Premium users have access to Video Chat. If you are a Free Member and want Video Chat functionality, please upgrade your membership now.

How do I use the chat in a browser or mobile device that doesn't allow Flash?
Most Mobile Devices:
You must use the Puffin Browser which allows you to use Adobe Flash on iPhones and other mobile devices. You can get the Puffin browser from your App Store. Download and install it. There is a free version which works just fine for the chat.

Desktop browser - For whatever browser you are using, if there is a prompt to allow Flash, click Ok. If this does not work you may want to add Solotouch to the sites allowed to use Flash. You can find instructions here.When adding Solotouch to allowable sites, type [*.]solotouch.com and click Add. Flash should now always work at Solotouch for you.

Can I get more information on using a mobile phone?
Mobile Phones:
When you login to ST on your mobile phone, you need to click the menu icon in the top right and click on chat from there to open chat.
You will automatically be dropped at the basic mobile chat version where you can view all rooms and chat. The mobile version of the chat does not require Puffin (or other Flash supporting browser).
If you want to use the full chat features, click full site in the top right corner. You will need to be using Puffin or a browser that supports Flash to view the full chat site.
You may need to click the Full Screen overlay that may float on your screen.

Where is the keyboard when I'm on my mobile device?
When viewing the full chat on your mobile device, the keyboard may not be visible. You must turn your phone sideways and then a keyboard icon will present itself in the lower left corner. Tap that to type.

I'm having problems getting my video chat to launch in Chrome. How do I fix it?
Your default Chrome settings may not be allowing the pop-up (which is necessary to give permission to use your camera and mic) when you launch video chat. To fix this, you need to allow pop-ups for ST.
In the top right of your Chrome browser, you will see an icon with 3 horizontal lines. Click that and then "Settings". Find the Privacy section in the Settings page and click the "Content Settings" button. Under the Pop-ups section of the Content Settings Page, if "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups" is checked, click the "Manage Exceptions" button. In the Pop-up exceptions box, enter [*.]solotouch.com and ensure that "Allow" chosen in the Behavior drop-down box. Then click "Done".
Be sure to reload Solotouch before you try to launch the video chat again so that your new settings take effect.

How do I work with Chat Settings or shut off sounds?
Clicking the chat settings icon in the left-side tabbed menu bar will allow you to change your sounds and A/V settings. You may uncheck the Sound Alerts options that you want to turn on or off and/or change the volume level.

You may report users that are not following the rules by going to the Users side-bar, clicking the user you want to report and click Report A User.

What images can I post in chat?
In general, no images of anyone under 18. As this is an adult site, please do not use this as a forum to post photos of your children or family snapshots. Because the chat is a closed environment and has a temporary nature, you may post images that do not break US Laws as long as other participants of the room do not find the images offensive. Please familiarize yourself with our full image posting rules here.

How do I private message someone?
Click on a User in the Users box. Click Personal/Whisper Message. Your message will post in the main room screen, but will only be visible to that user. You can also choose who to send a message to in the dropdown box where you type your messages. Selecting All will show the message to everyone in the room. Selecting a specific user means that message is only visible to you and that user.
You may also send any user an invite to private chat by clicking on that user in the right sidebar and choosing Invite to Private Chat.

How do I PM on my mobile device?
You must use the full version of the chat to PM on your mobile device and for that you must use the Puffin browser.
To PM you will enter a room and you need to go to the right side menu that lists users that are online. Tap the user you want to PM with and click Private Message on the menu that pops up. Then go to the bottom area where you usually type messages and it should say: "To > UserYouJustChose". Type your message then click Whisper to transmit the message. Do NOT click Send. Send will put the message in the room for all to view. Whisper will put the message in the main room window, but only you and the user you are "whispering" with can view it.

How do I use the whisper feature?
There are 3 options here:
To direct a message to a specific user that is visible to everyone in the room: In the text box, it will say MyUsername to: with a dropdown box with the available online users. You will choose the desired user, type your message and click Send on the right.
This message is visible to all users in the room, but directed to the specific user so it is clear you are speaking directly to them.

To say something privately to a user that will only be visible to you and that user: In the text box, it will say MyUsername to: with a dropdown box with the available online users. You will choose the desired user, type your message and click Whisper on the right.
When you whisper to someone, your message will appear in the main chat room, but is ONLY visible to you and the user you whispered to.

To type a message to the entire room, leave "All" selected in the dropdown and click send.
This message will be visible to all users, but not directed to anyone in particular.

I am experiencing some audio feedback problems. How can I fix it?
First, please go the settings icon in the left sidebar once you are in the chat and click the A/V Settings tab. If required, Enable A/V. Then, ensure that you have the correct Microphone selected and check the enable echo suppression box.
You may also need to open your local audio settings and change the volume and ensure you have the correct microphone and speakers enabled there.
The audio settings are a bit tricky as they differ per user, so please try to adjust your local settings if you continue to have any problems.

What's the difference between being a Free and a Premium member in chat?
First, we believe that all members can have a great experience in our all-inclusive chat room.

Everyone can enter and chat in any if our public rooms with other members. Keep in mind we do have a girls only and a guys only room. You can send messages for the entire room, send a public message directed at a specific member, or send a private one-on-one message to a specific member using our Whisper feature.

To send a public message directed at someone in the textbox choose their name under "all" in the dropdown menu, enter your message and click SEND. To make it a private message click WHISPER and only they will see it.

You can choose your text color and change your avatar to match your mood. And you can adjust your sound setting and check you recent chat history.

And as for using our full-feature multi-cam chat features Free members have three options. First, you'll be able to view any cam in any public chat room but only for a short time, yes, it's a tease. Second, you'll be able to have a full view of Premium member's cam if they invite you into a private chat while they're on cam. So make friends with Premium members. And, of course the best option is to simply upgrade your membership and start enjoying all the Premium benefits because here's what you'll enjoy.

Premium members can show themselves and watch others on can with our multi-user cam chat rooms. You can watch multiple cams at once and of course be seen by many as well. You can adjust or mute the audio and size the video up to full-screen.

You can show your cam is public or private rooms and even choose whom to block from viewing your cam. You always have total control.

Premium members can create private chat rooms and invite in only those they wish to chat with, even if they are a Free member. Once in your room if your cam is on all will be able to see and comment. This all happens without hundreds of annoying free chatters of models begging for tokens.

In addition to being able to cam and create private chats Premium members can attach photos, as long as they are appropriate and meet our terms and conditions, by clicking on the paperclip in the text box, choosing a file, adding text and clicking send, or whisper. They can also send a screen capture of their live cam by clicking on Send Snapshot in the My Webcam box. These can be sent to everyone or to one person only as a whisper.

And of course, Premium members get to upload, view, and comment on our user-submitted videos in the main site. All good reasons to enjoy our chat and to become a Premium member and enjoy all our features and benefits.

In general, no images of anyone under 18. As this is an adult site, please do not use this as a forum to post photos of your children or family snapshots. You must be the image owner or have legal right from copyright owner to post any images. Please familiarize yourself with our full image posting rules here.

How do I post images in the forum?
When you are creating a new post or topic, you will see a box at the bottom of your screen that has 3 tabs: Options, Upload attachment and Poll Creation. Click Upload attachment, click Browse, find the file on your local computer, click Add the file and add a comment if you wish. If you want the image to be part of your post, once the file is added, click Place inline. If you just want the file to be a clickable attachment, you simply need to complete the text in the subject/body part of the post and click Submit.

How can I post a poll?
When you are creating a new post or topic, you will see a box at the bottom of your screen that has 3 tabs: Options, Upload attachment and Poll Creation. Click the Poll creation tab and add your poll.




ALBUMS/PHOTOS ANSWERS:



How do I upload photos?
Login and go to your Photos section at My Account > My Photos.
Photos cannot exist outside of an album, so a new album will need to be created to start and later you can create new albums or add photos to an existing album.
To create an album, go the the Create Album section in your photos area, give it a title, description, at least one tag and select the desired privacy, then click submit. You will then see your album listed at the top of your photos page under Albums. Click the album edit icon at the top of the album and you can add photos or edit the album there.

How do I hide or share my photos?
When you initially create an album, you will choose whether to make that album and the photos within it visible to all SoloTouchers, only your friends or only yourself. If you change your mind later and want to change the privacy settings, you may do so by clicking the album edit icon for each album. An album that is currently visible will have the option to make invisible and an invisible album will have the option to make visible. Also be sure to check your Privacy settings and ensure that your Image Gallery and Photo Comments settings are set as desired.

How do I upload videos?
From the main menu, click Media > Videos > Upload or go here. You can also get to the upload area by going to My Account and clicking the Videos tab. The upload area is at the bottom of the page.
