Every so often I get in the mood for a little gothic horror. I noticed where a local halloween store was getting setup again, perhaps that's what's got me in the mood. About a year ago I concluded an eight story series called "The Haunted Bells". If you remember these (if not, go to Search, enter "plumplvr" for the author and search and scroll thru the list) I pulled a few elements and one character to write this new story. Nothing like plagerizing yourself I say. Anyway, the story will stand on it's own. A bit different from the typical WL submission, but hope you enjoy anyway! Plump Lvr
Linda Lou's Midnight WalkNewspaper Extract from The Daily InquirerOctober 25, Tim Kolchak ReportingIt had seemed like such a romantic idea at the time. After all, by taking the old dirt road it was only a mile and a half from the bar where she'd been meeting with friends back to her house. But now Linda Lou (last name with held) was regretting the fanciful notion of a moon lit walk, wishing she'd taken up those offers for a ride. Linda Lou, LL to her friends, quickened her stride as the October winds swirled around her. Long strands of her dark hair whipped in the wind, her light jacket doing little to keep her warm in the cool night air. Clouds rolled in obscuring the moon, bringing a damp fog with it. As LL rounded a bend in the road, her nerves were further strained by an owl, hooting just as she passed under his tree. She let out a yelp, then became embarrassed at being startled so easily. In only a few more paces though she was actively muttering obscenities as rain began to pelt her body. Off the road, across a small field stood an old farmhouse. Thinking it would do as well for shelter as anything she took off for it. She had the passing thought that perhaps she could call Frank, her boyfriend to pick her up, but her hopes were soon dashed. As she neared the structure it was easily apparent, even in the dim light, that it had been abandoned many years ago. Windows were broken, curtains fluttered in the breeze, shutters hung askew. Her attention focused on the house, Linda Lou had failed to pay attention to where she was walking. She paid for her inattentiveness when she went tumbling over a rock and fell right into a mud puddle. Letting out a growl of anger, she scrambled to her feet, and realized one foot was bare. She began looking for her wayward shoe, as well as for the offending rock. To her surprise it was not a rock that was the cause of her misfortune but instead a small headstone. It was not alone either, many grave markers surrounded her. 'A family cemetary.' she thought. A lightening flash accompanied by thunder snapped LL back to reality. Turning, she abandoned her shoe and darted the last few feet to the house. Not stopping she ran right through the open door and into the front hall."Hello?" she yelled, dripping and breathing heavily. "Anyone here?" Her only answer was a thunderclap from outside. Even though LL had quit smoking years ago, she kept up the habit of carrying her lighter. Grateful, she managed to dig it out of her purse. In the feeble light she spotted a candelabra on a small table, just inside the door. One candle was missing, and the others were low but enough remained to still be useable. With a little more light, LL looked around at her shelter. For it's age it was in surprisingly decent condition. She moved into the living room, happy to find much of the furniture still remained. Dusty, faded, it still provided a place to sit. Wet and chilled she began to shiver. LL knew if she didn't get warmed up she could get quite sick. Deathly sick.Looking around, she gathered some small twigs, presumably drug in by small creatures, and scraps of wood from broken furniture. Piling them into the fireplace she hesitated before trying to light them, unsure of the safety of the old stone hearth. But then, if she did nothing she could get hypothermia, and decided to risk it. The fireplace proved safe enough, and soon a cheery glow filled the room. Still shivering though, Linda Lou realized her clothes were soaked. Hesitantly, she began removing them, laying them by the fire to dry. Her jacket, blouse, skirt, then pantyhose were soon drying by the blaze. Since she wore no panties, she decided modesty be damned and removed her bra as well, letting her 42 D's free.Sliding up a chair before the fire, LL got as comfortable as possible. Now that her skin could be warmed directly, the chills quickly stopped. Indeed, a warm feeling began to wash over her. Bored, she had been daydreaming about Frank. Thinking back on their last lovemaking session, about how good his big, thick meat felt when it penetrated her body. Without even being conscious of it, her legs had parted and a finger was idly stroking at her clitoris. She began to rub faster, not making a decision to masturbate, but rather just going with the flow. Soon two fingers were pumping in and out of her furry vagina, while her other alternated between rubbing her clit and pinching her nipples. LL let out a small moan, then quivered as her body achieved orgasm. At that moment a loud crash echoed from behind her. With a scream she leaped from the chair, turning to see what had made the noise. Linda Lou shuddered and sank her face into her hands, almost crying with relief when she realized it was nothing more than an old shutter that had picked that moment to break loose and swing in the wind. Creeped out, she checked her clothes, but they were still quite damp. The continuing rain forced her to nervously decide to stay put a while longer. Sitting still time seemed to pass slowly, LL thought that she even dozed off at some point. Suddenly, LL was wide awake. Every nerve was on end. The fire had died down, and she felt frozen in her chair, unable to move. From somewhere behind her, she heard a thump, followed by another, as if someone was slowly walking. Thump. Thump. Thump. The steps got closer. LL was desperate, she wanted to look, wanted to leap from the chair and run, but try as she could she could only sit, frozen in fear. Thump. Thump. Thump. She closed her eyes. Her next sensation was of her legs, being thrust apart. Her ass felt like it was being lifted, just slightly. She let out a gasp as something penetrated her vagina. Her head rolled back and forth, "no no no" she moaned. She wanted to look, but was too terrified. At the same time, she was suddenly aware of also being intensely aroused. As... whatever it was plunged in out of her, terror mixed with ecstasy. Over and over, faster and faster the warm thick thing slammed into her womanhood. Her hands found her breasts and began pinching her nipples. Some part of her brain was screaming "no, this is wrong, noooooooo" but another part was screaming "yes, oh yes!" back. Suddenly the plunging stopped, and she felt hot liquid gush inside her. Her belly exploded as the most intense orgasm of her life ripped through her. She began screaming, screaming with lust at first, then, as she became conscious, of unrelenting terror. Linda Lou came to, slowly, as she was being shook. She blinked her eyes against the bright light. "LL? Baby? Thank god, are you all right? Baby?" a familiar voice brought her back to reality. She sat up, looking around, taking stock of her situation. She was sitting in the middle of a big field. Frank was there, holding her, bright sunlight was creeping over the horizon. When she shivered, she realized she was also naked. "Baby, what happened?" he was asking. As the memories began flooding over her, she grabbed Frank and just held him. After several minutes, she had calmed down, and had also gratefully accepted his warm jacket. In a few words, she began retelling her story. When she got done, Frank was looking at her with a blank look on his face. "You don't believe me." she concluded. "Well, it's just that... well there's no house around here." Her ire raised, Linda Lou was determined to prove herself, as much to convince herself as to convince her boyfriend. "C'mon I'll show you." She got up and marched across the muddy field. In a few minutes she found the tombstones, poking out above the weeds. "Ah-ha!" she yelled in triumph. Picking up her muddy shoe she waved it in Frank's face. "There, you see! Now, that means the house is right over..." as she turned, she stopped in mid sentence. No house appeared, only a big open field. "But... but.. it was here, I know it was." Stumbling, she came across some rocks, in a square pattern. "There's the foundation." she heard Frank say in a quiet voice. "But Honey, there hasn't been a house there in over 40 years. Look, there's the historical marker." Frank read aloud "Wolfe House. On this site was the first home in the county, built 1799 by Jeremiah Wolfe. It remained in the Wolfe family for many years, until abandoned in the early 1900s. The house fell into disrepair and burned down in 1952. ""See." he concluded softly."But... I... my shoe... my clothes..." LL shook her head, confused. "I know it happened, I know it did."Frank and LL came to me with their story several days later. Frank had taken LL to the hospital to be checked out, then to the police. The local police, in their infinite wisdom, concluded someone had overheard Linda Lou saying she was going to walk home and slipped a drug into her drink. Following her, he or they waited until she passed out and took advantage of her. She had dreamed up the whole thing from her drug induced stupor.Of course, the police made this brilliant deduction despite the fact that all of LL's drug tests came back negative, and despite her insistence that she hadn't decided to walk home until after she'd stepped outside the bar.Frank and LL still live here, although LL has an understandable reluctance to go down that certain road. As for me, I went back out there, and found a definite set of footprints from where the house had stood to where Frank had found Linda Lou lying. Sure, you might be skeptical of their story, but I freely admit that if he ever finds himself taking a midnight walk down a dirt road and a rain storm comes up, well this reporter is going to just keep walking. -----I hope you enjoyed this.
