My high school had some pretty strict and in some cases strange rules, in regards to the appearance of the student athletes. Some were pretty standard, like no visible piercings or tattoos but there were some unusual rules regarding facial and body hair. All the male student athletes had to have clean shaven faces and no visible body hair, not really an issue for the swim team since basically everyone shaved for increased speed but anyone with sleeveless uniform or anything that exposed part of the chest like the wrestling team or the basketball team had to shave their chests and armpits; even people on teams that had very hairy chests that showed above the neckline of the uniform would have to shave. Now the thing you need to know at the time of this story the body hair rule was new. Until this happened the only thing we had to do was shave off any facial hair we had before on official game but the rules had changed to include body hair and we couldn't have body hair or facial hair visible at practice either.
My friend Jake was a super athletic guy, he was also a super hairy guy. Jake was 6 feet tall, built like the Hulk, had green eyes, light brown hair and a super hairy chest that started just above his neck line. He also had a very hairy upper arms which was not allowed and random hairs on his back, also not allowed. He knew that I had had to shave because I was on the swim team, he also knew I was a pretty hairy guy so he asked me if I could tell him how I shaved the parts I couldn't see. I told him that my teammates and I usually shaved each other. Unfortunately for him he was the only hairy guy on any of his teams. I told him I would help him out and after school that day we went to my place and I gave him a demonstration on shaving and also shaved his back.
