My orgasms became different a few months ago.

After orgasming the same way for around 20 years, I've noticed a recent change in how I orgasm. I didn't change anything about my self-pleasuring technique at all, but I now have O's that are differently shaped. Previously, I would experience a big explosion at the beginning of my orgasm that very slowly tapered to a stop. The most intense part of the orgasm was definitely the first 10 or so seconds. It fools me into thinking that this is going to be one of those gentle, sigh-like orgasms instead of my usual frenzied, high-volt electrocution events that has me jerking spastically and uncontrollably, but after about 5 seconds of that serene floating on a cloud feeling, it becomes obvious that the best is yet to come. There's a slow crescendo where I know that the ultimate peak is waiting for me, and as I frig and frig at my clit in the throes of this unusually shaped orgasm, my arousal rises and rises. Finally, maybe around 20 seconds into the orgasm, I achieve my usual intense explosion, which is just as good as the old way that it used to come. From there, it lasts about as long and then tapers down in the same way. I haven't yet had a chance to time these new O's, but I think they may last longer altogether because it takes me longer to get to the uncontrollable pleasure-pain peak.
