The amount of first marriages failing is high. A word of caution, alimony is COSTLY! Don't be in a hurry to seal the deal and be married unless you have both openly discussed your potential future together.

Last night I watched 'Sextistics, Your Love Life', a TLC Valentines Day Special, which presented viewers with a unique, modern and relatable guide to love and romance.
Viewers learned all the facts about finding true love and sustaining a healthy relationship. The special also revealed all of the answers and statistics about love, sex, and romance. It also included interviews with renowned relationship and sex experts, and candid real life experiences from people on the street.
The objective of the special was to teach how a partner is selected. First, is physical eye to eye contact and what or who visually attracts our attention? Basically I feel it is appearance, whether it is the person's eyes, hair or physical statue.
Of course a man's eyes usually are focusing on a woman's breast. If they are wearing a low cut top showing a good bit of cleavage the chemistry is usually beginning to glow.
It seems women first focus on height and appearance. Next is eye contact. When a man notices strong eye contact from a female he can tell she is interested. Many times it isn't the male who makes the first verbal contact. Today it seems the female is more interested in a long term relationship, like marriage, than most males.
It then turns to dating. Unfortunately many young males aren't mature enough to know how to proceed except toward a one night fling of sex. Ladies like to be wooed gently and not the quickie 'slam bam, thank you Mam' approach.
Take your time and get to know about the likes and dislikes of your potential future partner.
I could go on an on about the program special but I feel sure it should be repeated so don't miss it.

One of the next most important factors which interests females is MONEY! What is the income of the male and can he afford to provide her the life style to which she has been accustomed?
It eventually comes to the subject of sex. A couple is joined as one and should be expected to satisfy the sexual needs of their partner. Some may want sex once a week the other may need it every day. You definitely need to learn this important aspect before committing.
If you are not sexually compatible the relationship will usually be short lived. Of course, had this been openly discussed prior to marriage, it should not be a problem.
What are the issues important in a successful marriage? First is love, which should be unconditional and all encompassing. Next is companionship, holding hands and the old fashioned gentleman like qualities such as opening doors for your lady.
Next is sex which is usually 1/4 to 1/3 of a marriage. With the right partner sex is meant to last a lifetime and grows more enjoyable as the years go by.
Now to my point........My first marriage failed after many years as we were too young to start with and actually not mature enough to see past the initial lust.
My second marriage was unbelievable! I was in my early 60's and she was in her late 50's. On the third date she initiated an open and frank discussion about our possible future. You can read more about that in my 'How Our Future Began' contribution and included attachments.
Never forget, foreplay and afterplay are as much or more important than the short time spent during actual intercourse. We wish you a happy life full of love and enjoyable sex and of course a lot of exciting open sessions of masturbation.
