Wet dreams can't be prevented, so don't wait too long to discuss sex and masturbation with your Son.
I quite frequently read contributions regarding wet dreams and would like to offer my 'two cents.'

I never experienced one as I learned to masturbate rather early when one day, while I was showering, I spent too much time soaping and rubbing my little erection and then I had my first cum. From then on I masturbated at least once a day.

I learned back then if you masturbate and ejaculate often enough semen doesn't develop enough to cause a wet dream. When you go too long without ejaculating it builds up and thus a wet dream. I discussed masturbation with my son and taught him it was OK to masturbate. I waited a bit too late to discuss it as much to my dismay he had already learned to masturbate. When he was about 12 and showered during a sleepover with his best friend and his 14 year old older brother the older brother had already taught him how.

Research has shown when if you masturbate 3-5 times per week between the ages of 20-25 there is a 30% chance it will prevent Prostate cancer in later years.

It didn't prevent it for me but it sure was fun along the way.
