Another story from a client.
There's not much manufacturing going on in America these days, sad to say. However, I'm proud to be working for a small company that makes baby strollers right here in the USA. We call them 'preambulators.' There are about 35 people total, 15 white collar, and 20 on the assembly floor. Our boss, Jerry, is kind of an ex-hippy. Way cool, and a very friendly attitude. Like once, when one of the assembly people had a car accident and needed physical therapy that his insurance didn't cover, Jerry just paid for it out of his own pocket. He also paid the guy's wages, and gave him a job in the office until he fully recovered. Anyway, Jerry has some really strange notions about how to run a company. I think the one you'd be interested in hearing about here is his masturbation policy. Jerry feels that sexual tension, horniness, is counter-productive. Yet, he doesn't want to deprive his workers of anything. So, at starting time, every morning, 8:00 AM, he insists we all meet in the break room, which gets pretty crowded with 35 people, and we strip off all our clothes, and jerk off. Really and truly! Then at 8:30, we dress again, and it's off to work. No one touches anyone else, other than that our legs may be pressed against the man or woman next to us while we sit there and wank on one of the sofas. Or sometimes, two people will sit in one chair, laughing and carrying on while they masturbate. When I interviewed at the company, I was told of the crazy arrangement, as well as some other weirdnesses of the company, like the dozen cats that are allowed to sleep in our laps while we work. While it sounded really weird and unbelievable, I took the job probably more because of their 'masturbatorium' thing than any other reason. Plenty of design jobs pay better, and baby strollers? You've got to be kidding. Yet now, I wouldn't take another job for a million bucks. Oh, yes, Jerry, and his wife, too, join us in these sessions. We all do it every single day. Oh, sometimes, you don't feel like cumming. Sometimes, the guys can't even get hard, or some of the women are wearing tampons. We still get naked, and have a half-hour party-like affair. Oddly, there's no sexual harrassment. No harrassment at all. In the whole four years I've been there, not a single worker has quit or been fired. (I wonder why?)
