Not Such a Dull Town After All

I'm more of a Classical 50's 60's to 80's to  earlier 90s guy. For me those were just great classic and nostalgic guys. Im a great Fan of Jerry Lewis, Barbara Eden, to name only a few of many Favorite Classic Celebrities.

Going back to our main story venue/events.

Here is where it begins. In a local town district near a distant kilometers to the Main City of Maine (let's call it that).

Our story begins in a small town overlooking the distant major city below. Our scene and main character starts with the Widower Mrs. Mildred "Milly" Wells (They changed their name from Welington to Wells). Everyone was present at the funeral reception that day and a couple of great buffet and snacks, Mrs. Wells or Milly as they are used to call her, host a great party every month or some weekend on town meetings, not only she being the granddaughter of former mayor.

Her best and closest friend Sylvia Hauzier was the over-all coordinator of that day, and seems to most active and seemingly tireless in the group of ladies and characters, we will introduce slowly and much later on as our story progress. Mrs. Wells or "Milly" was just really devastated at the sudden death of her husband. Freak Car Accident. She is sueing the car company that sold her the car. Rumors say, that the car is second hand and kinda spooky haunted or something. Anyway, I'll just leave it at that.

After the funeral, everything seems,  soon very very quiet and some eeriness to the silence of once a lovely town. Mrs. Wells asked Sylvia to take care of her house for a while, she decided to take a flight and visit some few distant relatives for a while and left word, she dont know when she'll be back for a while, this time, she wants to travel solo, not the usual group of entourages that used to follow her, no not even her best friend Sylvia.

An old neighbor and also another distant relative of Mrs. Wells, newly wed couple were asked to stay and occupy the house for a while. Sylvia was supposed to, but she has her own big house and goes to and fro, but can check everything for a while (and she politely explained and declined the generous offer). She loves her other chosen career as Beauty Salon Consultant and Expert and she has several branches or franchises, that is what really made her popular and had lots of friends. She even helps a lot of Barbers update their gig and owns some of them in which she has helped a lot of people in her own district and neighborhood. Rumors say, she even owns several restaurant and hotels, but she does not want to admit and divulge everything in her life for the whole town and other city. She is your Friendly Betty White and Beautician or Beauty and Health Care Expert.

Now things became more interesting when Mrs. Well's niece and her husband Mrs Nelly and Robert Ken Hendrick I would say, everything started to become lively again, the Party hosting and meetups started again. Sylvia, really needed help jugling around and sent for a younger maid, nanny and over-all PA or personal assistant that is Katie, a distant niece of her. She seemed old fashioned and old hag for her young age, but in Sylvia's care she was tranformed into a swan princess, but she still wants to somehow dress conservatively and keep those glasses although she has had laser eye surgery for her vision impairment and been taking great supplements. But unlike before her new Fashion Style is acceptable, unlike that dreadful gothic Elvira Mistress of Dark and The Munsters look she had before. Unknowingly to everyone Katie is great at sports and good biker and loves to stroll a lot her free time along with her back pack and notebook size laptop and mobile phone she carries in her bag/backpack, sort of her mini office.

The town seemed to be upgraded and modernized, took a while, since the former mayor hated technology and distained those gadgets and stuff. He is a little bit old fashioned and says it would be a great distraction to the kids specially those schooling. His advisories agreed and when the new mayor was put in place, the old mayor was still very influential and signed a decree and memorandum of agreement and so internet access was very much timed, scheduled and regulated. They were mobile phones were off limits in schools, restaurants, offices and other non-designated places. There is a special technology and computer class in school and for everyone, so the whole town was still not left behind. Old and young attended that class along with other skill building and hobby training workshops and schooling. And yes, it was the best and guest and experts attended, stayed and shared their experties. Although everything in town that was old remained and the bare modern was tried to kept to a minimal. They even have their own solar plant. It was then Katie was Biking and stumbled upon, which seems to be an old barn or huge tool shed or some sirt of warehouse, she howlered, and went snooping inside. It was very clean and neat, but not what you expect outside.

Well, she came in from the back side, and her bike was hidden in some bushes. Along came a loud noise which seems to be an old truck. She was upstairs, their was a second floor and glass window, in which you could see clearly outside, but not so noticeably viewable from the outside. Katie was curiously peeking outside. She couldn't believe it, it was Mrs. Sandra Peters and Her Nephew Erick the gardener. They were both loudly laughing and teasing each other, like some goofy love craze teenagers.
