Since there are no private homes, any extended stay would be quite expensive paying hotel rates. I suppose one could live in a nearby town like Agde or Sete and spend as much time in the resort as wanted but you would have to pay to do that. Although annual passes are available for around 200 Euros.

It's difficult to pin down details but it does appear there are apartments available in Cap D’Agde where you could live year round. But I don’t have any numbers for what that might cost.

The unusual thing about the town is that you can stroll naked through a supermarket or even the post office along with everybody else also being nude. Shopkeepers and service people are dressed however. And from what I was able to discover, nudity in the evening, while not actually frowned upon, is said to be less and less popular in recent years. And even during the day, many naturists do not go 100% nude in town. Some women wear a string bikini bottom but go topless. And some men might be seen in shorts.

The beach is where a lot of risqué activity takes place. Although sex there is technically illegal, based on the huge number of explicit videos online, it doesn’t appear that much policing is taking place. Oddly there is one section of the beach where clothing is required. Probably for local day trippers who want to enjoy the beach but do not want to be exposed to dangling dicks.

Because the entire place is a private nudist resort, you have to pay to get in as a one day visitor. As I recall it’s fairly inexpensive, I saw one post that quoted 10 or 20 Euros. During peak periods as many as 40,000 people are living and carousing at Cap D’Agde.

The most notorious local beach goer is a woman named Naomi. She has a website with hundreds of videos and still shots of her, most of which appear to have been taken at Cap D’Agde.
