This is not so much a technique, but a helpful tip to try. I have found that if I have the time, and plan on a long jerk session, I use two lubes at the same time. First I put on a thick layer of a quality silicone lube, with a layer of water based lube like astro-glide on top. Last a long time! Try it out.
