Just read itAn open letter to all Whispering Lily Members.I've put quite a bit of thought into this, and I regret that I even have to say it: but I am.What the Hell is wrong with you people?A very small number of us post stories for y'all to jerk off to. Why the heck can't you at least have the courtesy to say "Thanks"?It doesn't take more than a few seconds to post a vote on a story, and it doesn't take more than a minute or two to click on a button and type a line or two "Hey, that was a cool story -- it got my rocks off". No big deal.Then you have the nerve to complain about the cost (yeah, like 25 bucks is gonna break you -- that's a fucking tank of gas for your average SUV, (or even for my piece of shit minivan) and that there is nothing going on.There is nothing going on because you aren't doing a goddamn thing!Fuck the chat: if you really joined WL to make the hookup then you were mistaken. I look forward to a better chat system, but for God's sake, if all you want is chat go to another site: there are plenty.This isn't Solo (which I think is a great place) and you won't see 10 or 20 stories a day --UNLESS YOU WRITE THEM -- or at least give the few authors out there some kind of encouragement to write them for you.I do think that the quality of the stories here greatly exceed what the Teenagers on Solo write, but who would know, since nobody ever comments...?Chris isn't making money off this venture I assure you: in fact he's probably loosing it.There are tons of sites out there that will let you 'hook up' and chat and even share videos with each other -- if that's what you are looking for. We also have companion sites to WL that allow for photo and video exchange, run by WL members who do it for free, because they think it's a nice thing to do for people. The sites are also free, so stop complaining about the money. If you have never even visited the Forum section of WL, then you know nothing about this, and heck, you deserve to be in the dark.If you are looking for a quick piece of masturbatory material, great! I do the same myself. If you joined WL thinking there would be tons and tons of it that you could just suck up without making any effort -- sorry, you got the wrong site. I'm sure they are out there, go find them.There are some of us who have been here for some time who have built up a mutual respect and genuine friendship. I believe the tagline on the entry page speaks of an online community for adults: act that way! An adult does not take and take, an adult knows to give too.It pains me to see stories on the main page with 300 reads, 1 comment, and 3 votes. Even assuming that everybody read it twice and thus it was only 150 people reading the story, only 4 or 5 people could be troubled to vote or comment?While I agree with the concept of 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it' this is pretty ludicrous. Not all stories will inspire you to that cum, but how the hell do you expect anyone to learn what might improve the stuff they submit, or expect to receive further tales for your jacking joy when you provide nothing?This is neither Solotouch, not alt.com. This is an "adult community" of hopefully like-minded folks. Try acting like oneFor the record: yes I will renew my subscription, and yes I will continue to frequent this site. I have made friends here, and I would love to make more. I've most likely got a bug up my butt, so to speak, and am spouting off irresponsibly -- but I have had discussions with some of the adults here that agree that there is an intellectual vacuum occurring here.This little rant will most likely not have an iota of impact, so that is why I will post it.
