Music - Favorite Songs, Artists, etc.
Music is one of my favorite things in the world, so I wanna know what kinds all of you guys like to listen to!
I listen to a little bit of everything since no one listens to just one genre of music anymore, but if I had to pick my favorite, it would hands down be trance. I discovered it in my sophormore year of high school and was absolutely HOOKED. I still am, and I haven't ever been on a music kick this long, so I really think it was meant to be. It can be easy to listen to or pump you up. Also the nice 7-10 minute songs make for the perfect running playlist. The song that converted me to the dark side all those years ago was this one by one of my favorite DJ duos, the Blizzard. As far as I'm concerned, it is perfect in every way. Take a listen!

That's it for me. What about you guys/gals/gender queers?

Back in the 80's there was a band in England called Swing Out Sister. I was totally smitten by Corinne Drewery.

Musical crushes.
Kate Bush, Tori Amos, PJ Harvey (all slightly bonkers and gorgeous!). I can go with morningwd, Corinne Drewery was (and still is) lovely.
Actual music taste? Well, I say a post of Facebook the other day which said "My taste in music ranges from 'You need to listen to this' to 'I know, please do not judge me'. I think that about covers it.
I've got everything from Bellowhead, through The Feeling, to Megadeth (via Hilltop Hoods) on the iPod at the moment. I love pretty much anything (except boy bands and manufactured stuff).

From the Beatles, went out with my first love when "Get Back" was in the charts. Made love to her "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was playing on the radio.
The Stones, then to Queen. Did a karaoke version of Bohemian Rhapsody in my local pub, they loved it!!
But on a long car journey can chill to anything classical.
Staying in a hotel in Northern Ireland, sitting in the bar, commotion at around 11:30pm, "Take That" walk in from a concert in Belfast.
Gary Barlow apologised for disturbing us, and bought us a drink, nice guy!
Went swimming with Jason Orange in the hotel pool in the morning, well he was there!
Love their later stuff.

Any headbangers on here? I'm a bit of a metal head myself with stuff like Maiden Priest metallica and Cooper. Mostly the older bands rather than the younger newer ones. Was at Sonisphere in england this year and was a bloody great time.
Re: Music - Favorite Songs, Artists, etc.
I like a little bit of everything from country to metal to rap. But I find myself favoring metal more and more lately, anything with a kickass guitar. Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Seether, and of course the classics. Metallica, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, ACDC.
Re: Music - Favorite Songs, Artists, etc.
You looking forward to the new ACDC album and tour? Going to be strange without Malcolm and now phill Rudd doesnt look like he's going to be there. But then, Angus was always the focal point of the group and as long as hes there then i guess we're all happy.

Here is one ( or two ) for you all. I watch at least one version if not both every day. It has become sort of my national anthem every morning. Plus, at night when I am "in the mood" and edging for awhile, I will watch again, as Laura is HOT !!!

This version has gotten over 50 million views in just 2 years, which averages out to somewhere around 72,000 views per day, but I think I actually like the above version better.
