Contacting members

I tap "contact member" and "add friend" and nothing happens. FAQ says "contact a board member", but how do I do that? I don't see a "board member" anywhere.

i dont even have the option to message anyone or i just dont know how too

Top of landing page > My Account > Mailbox

Select Compose and create message to the user in question. Fill in 'To', 'Subject', and 'Message'

As long as the recipient has allowed messaging for non-friends it should go through.
