site hanging

am i the only one that is experience the site hanging from time to time. ive tried it in a few browsers and its the same. site just hangs and ticks over. go to something like youtube and the videos play instantly so i know its not on my side.

its stressing me out a bit because i type a lot so when i press post and it hangs i panic a bit hoping not to lose what ive typed

You're not the only one. I've also had this problem, which occurs when I try to get to the site initially or go to look at some of the pics that people have uploaded.

Loading media has been problematic since the website redesign.
Please understand the developers are looking at this.
