Cannot update avatar

I'm a new user and have tried to change my avatar from the default. I can upload an image but it doesn't save and I'm left with the shadow man. Help!

There may be a site-wide problem with photos / pictures.

Admin should be working on it...

EDIT - Try again, things seem to be working better now
