ST stagnating?

I've only been on ST for a few months and I like much of what I read; however, it does seem to be the same handful of people who post and who are mainly American. It shouldn't really be that way as it's obviously got a global target audience, most of whom I'd suggest masturbate! A site like this should be buzzing!

I'd really like the site to be reaching out to non-Americans also, so that there's someone else online to chat to when I am.

The first thing I do when I log on at around 7am BST (middle of the night in the US) is to check for new content on the forums - responses to the threads I'm following, new theads, etc. Unfortunately, there's increasingly spam being posted for one hooker/porn site or another, which I diligently report, but then it takes a long time to get taken down, which leads me to ask whether the mods are losing interest too? I notice that some haven't logged on in months.

I usually get to them within a day or so, and thank you for flagging them BTW.
I am the only one paying any attention here, but I feel I have been doing a good job.
We do need some safeguards with member registration though.
If we make it harder to join, many more will just skip on by...

Something will need to happen soon with the site, as the demise of Flash will pretty much kill the chat section. The forum has always been kinda slow, but the main reason that people visit here is for the stories.
The Mods editing the stories do a great job of weeding out the crap from the good stuff, unfortunately as with everything else, much of it is on a volunteer basis.

I thought I could help with the site, so I volunteered. Our beloved Tom has passed away, he was a real asset handling many aspects of the site. You can do your part by inviting a few close friends, and soon if everyone does that we will have a bustling membership.

Thanks for responding. I know you're very proactive on the site and that's welcomed.

I didn't realise people used the site mostly for stories as I always head straight to the forums! I've started submitting stories now so I'll see how that goes.

I did write twice about becoming a mod as it would make sense to have people in different time zones keeping an eye on spam but never even got a response. Oh well...

The thing about inviting friends is that masturbation is pretty much a solitary past-time so...

You need to get your post count in the forum up as well as continue to participate in the Chat section.

Billie (Admin) has some changes in the works, and may be more open to accepting new Mods as time presses on.

Submit a request in a bit after the changes take place.

I'm aware of the upcoming changes to Flash and I am actively working to update the chat before it becomes dysfunctional.
Regarding moderators, I am simply overwhelmed trying to run the site without Tom and simply haven't had the time to even correspond with anyone or set up relevant permissions, etc. I'm hoping to get to that soon....

Thank you to all the Mods for all the hard work you've put in. It seems like traffic to the site picked-up due to COVID so there's quite a bit more pressure on y'all now. I'm glad you're able to clear out the spam posts (and spam accounts?). I know how tough it can be!

I think ST has been working well. In normal times I masturbate frequently because I am single man. During these difficult times I have been doing more masturbation than normal.
