I am not an administrator and don’t know that I know the correct answer but up until several years ago the photo standards here were very lax and almost anything was allowed. One day we were told that we could no longer post nudity and that avatars could no longer be genitalia. The explanation given at the time was the difficulty of the site to verify ages of users, and if I recall correctly it was credit card companies that required such age verification. (ST takes credit cards for upgraded membership). This was puzzling since so many true porn sites have both free porn and also take credit cards for premium membership, etc., but that’s my recollection.

My guess is that ST is based in the USA. Porn sites xvideos and xnxx owned by the same company are based in Paris. Anyone can view both of them here in the USA without any age verification and see all sorts of sex acts by people from around the world including my native India.
Why, as you said, everything was allowed several years ago, but not now?
If the rules are changed back to the old days, I think ST will have more members and a lot more interest, just like porn sites.
