I masturbated a lot before puberty with a friend, and then was suddenly rejected and shamed by him, and it left me frightened to even mention masturbation with anyone for decades. When I first entered the solotouch chat room and could freely say "masturbation", I was ecstatic.

I still love it, and love to confess with other masturbators how much I love to masturbate and love being a masturbator. My most exciting sex--ever--comes with sharing solo sex with other masturbators. More and more people are "coming out" as masturbators, as they discover the amazing joy of serious masturbation, and I'm happy to welcome them into the cult :)
I'm a serious masturbator and like you, I love to talk about it with other wankers. Your prior experiences or your fantasies may be an excuse to masturbate, once more.

I was raised in a very prudish and sexually repressive family. I was taught that masturbation was abnormal, unnatural, harmful, shameful and a sin. That being said, I have been masturbating clandestinely since I was 6 and can't understand why any intelligent, informed parent would ever teach their children that something so harmless, normal, natural, healthy, safe, fun and very enjoyable as masturbation is bad. I went through most of my life hiding the guilt and shame that was ingrained in my psyche because I love to masturbate.
That was a different era and morals and ethics were a lot more conservative back then. These days, I can't fathom why any self-respecting, educated, informed parent would even consider teaching their children that masturbation is taboo, dirty or shameful. As a kid I was amazed by my erection and played with my cock every chance I got. Kids are going to explore their bodies and you can't stop it. Between exploring their bodies and talking to their friends you know they're going to eventually explore masturbation. Why try and stop them doing something so natural? A wise, considerate parent would give their children all the factual medical and scientific information they could find on the subject of masturbation and let their children make that decision for themselves!!
