Inspired by the lovely Anonymous's All Alone... Almost.
I did not write this story. My ex-girlfriend wrote it a long time ago at my request for a Solo Touch style story from her. After her health issues, I forgot about it until now. This is one fond memory I would like to share.
Well, I'm lonely, but not lonely enough. Shauna decided to stay here this weekend. No fun for me. I still don't think you can make it. Especially on those long drives you are going to make, and how tired you are going to be. Hope you don't fall asleep at the wheel. Think of this as a virtual tease.
I'm 18, a week away from 19. I'm 5'4', blue eyes, reddish hair, 34B... isn't that all that matters in life? Anyway. My boyfriend is away this weekend, but that doesn't really affect our already long-distance relationship. At least I could have his online companionship. However, I was almost looking forward to this weekend, since my roommate would be out of town and I could 'take care of business' whenever and however I deemed necessary. But as luck would have it, she backed out at the last second, and she is staying.
My body can't take this kind of let down gracefully. Sitting in bed with my laptop, its heat warming all the right places. My fingers pressing buttons no more than an inch above where they crave to be. I could get away with it. It's dark, the sound of the tv would drown out any foreign sounds. My roommate has her back turned to me, focusing on her own internet activities.
I move my heels slowly towards each side of the bed, rotating my ankles as though stretching before lengthy jog.
Oh drat, an interruptive phone call. I may finish tomorrow...
