True story. Wanted to share with others in case they're in same situation. Step-son was hesitant about masturbating and masturbating with friend. I was able to encourage him (no I'm not a pedephile nor am I interested in that). I just wanted to be sure he did not repress it and that he enjoyed it freely and more than I was able to. I enjoyed it, solo and with friends, but if I could go back I would make sure to do it even more. I didn't want him to have same regret.
I'm recently married and so now I have a step son who just turned 13. I am new at fatherhood and this is a sensitive subject. Now I've always been a big proponent of masturbation but this still took me by surprise. However, I know what it's like to get caught the first time so I tried to act like it was nothing out of the ordinary and apologized for interrupting. I even tried to be encouraging about it. I said he shouldn't feel the need to sneak around to do it either. Lastly, I said that what they were doing together was normal and that it was good to explore with friends.
