A totally tongue in cheek story, now say I won a math debate 3 times quickly...you'll get it.
Several years ago I got caught up in the film ‘Pi’, by Darren Aronofsky. The protagonist in the story, Max Cohen, believes everything in nature can be understood through numbers. For whatever reason, I focused on the Fibonacci sequence and spent many hours reading about it. An acquaintance, an artist, took exception to my interest stating math was a waste of time. We went back and forth on the subject until I pointed to the Golden Ratio and it’s relationship to classical art. He conceded.
I was quite excited about his change of heart and that night, meeting a group of friends in a local bar, I announced loudly, “I WON A MATH DEBATE, I WON A MATH DEBATE”. Everyone looked at me oddly, except for a bookish young lady at a nearby table.
She had an interesting look with tousled sandy brown hair, small breasts and glasses. Dressed in baggy shorts and a thin t-shirt that showcased her hard nipples that became harder as we talked, especially on the subject of Math Debating. As she spoke, under her soft voice I detectedt she had a slight lisp. “If you like to Math Debate, as I do, you should try SoloTouch”. Unfortunately when the people she was with, settled their tab she left with them. Sadly, I never found out her name or any other personal information. Several nights later I went on to my computer in search of this math website she spoke of hoping to find her. Although I enjoyed the many erotic stories, I never did find any discussion about math. Maybe I misunderstood her interest in Math Debating.
