Juliet's story, Underwear, got me thinking about why I am fascinated with lesbian sexual experiences.

 

Growing up repressed, before women's lib--yes, you got it, a GUY repressed before women's lib--I had bought into the bullshit that girls were pure and boys were dirty; that boys wanted sex and girls gave in to keep their boyfriends.

I didn't know girls had sexual thoughts and feelings. That girls got horny and masturbated. Some of them just as much as I did.

 

I love that there are lesbians in the world because I can see that these females are doing it because they like it, because they have sexual desires. Absent the sexual politics of a male/female relationship, women doing it to please themselves and each other. I feel I can trust it.

 

In Juliet's story, girls flashing their underpants for other girls. Discovering even in their teens that it is girls they are attracted to. I wonder what it would feel like to be a teenage girl feeling those thrills and attractions.

 

I love that girls/women have erotic thoughts and fantasies, even perverted ones. I grew up feeling a little--sometimes very--perverted, masturbating, sticking things up my ass, having sex with another boy. My hangup that girls were pure, nice, and innocent made me feel very different from them. BAD. Seeing girls and women doing things that are just as "perverted," I feel a great relief, and great pleasure.

 

I know I'm a fool, old enough and experienced enough to know better, but these early-formation hangups are still very much stuck in me.

I think girls just tend to hide it better so we aren't labeled as a slut or easy by the majority of society. And that's only because so many are taught the same thing you were, that we are supposed to be prim and proper and that guys only want one thing. I do believe that is slowly starting to change but at a snails pace.
