My only way to access the site is through an Android device currently, and I find I can't accept friend requests. (I'm using Chrome, btw.) Ideas?

Sorry for the issues you're having.
Please read the FAQ here about friend requests: http://www.solotouch.com/static/faq.html#friendaccept

If that does not resolve your issues, we've noticed a couple of other issues with Chrome at the site since their last update.
Can you please ensure you are accepting the friend request from the correct location and if that doesn't work, please try to use Firefox and see if that resolves your issues? (And let us know the results).

Thanks for such a quick reply--not to mention such a wonderful site. I'm following the directions in the FAQ and using Firefox; still no luck, I'm afraid. The pull-down menu appears from the friend's avitar, but before I can select "Accept friend request", it loads the user's profile page. (I've tried just tapping "accept" really, really fast, but that doesn't help either.) Suggestions?

right?
(Friend requests are at the bottom of the page).

If so, I'm not sure how to resolve your issue. The friend accept does work online and sadly, we just don't have the resources to develop for every device. I would love to be that big that we had teams of developers, but we're just not there.
Perhaps you can login to the site on a PC from time to time to accept your friend requests there?

I wish I had studied programming instead of Chemistry. It would be a lot more useful these days.
