Why is age verification required?
The world, internet and legislation worldwide is changing. To continue to offer you full features, we must confirm that you are 18 or older. This is a legal requirement and we are 100% on board with protecting children from any form of 18+ content.

How do you protect my privacy?
Age verification is 100% anonymous. None of your information is retained by us nor the verification process once verification is complete. You pass or fail the 18+ verification and your pass or fail status ONLY is recorded. 100% your information is deleted. No one wants responsibility of that sort of data and we simply would not do that to you.

What options are available to age verify me?
Our age verification service offers 4 options: age estimation via selfie, credit card, email and providing legal ID. If one fails, you will be prompted to use another. If none of them work, please reach out to support.
How does each verification option work?
* Age estimation via selfie:
You are asked to use your camera (computer or mobile - and you can use mobile even if you are on a computer at the time via a QR code). The system analyzes your facial features and estimates your age. You may be asked to move your head, etc. to ensure you are live and real.
* Credit card:
Basic information is retrieved from your credit card company. If you've had your card for 20 years, you are certainly over 18. Also, there are purchases and payments that adults make that minors simply don't. This feature uses general analysis and never has access to your purchase history or other personal details. It is a yes/no answer.
* Email:
Same concept as above. The age of your email account or for example, utility receipts, etc. can indicate you are 18+. This feature uses general analysis and never has access to your email history or other personal details. It is a yes/no answer.
* Upload legal ID image:
You upload an image of a state or government issued ID that has your birthdate listed, indicating you are 18+, as well as a photo. Then your selfie and ID photo will be compared to ensure it is you in the ID.
What if I do not pass the age verification process?
If your original verification option choice fails, you will be prompted to use another. Often, users are reporting that a subsequent attempt works for them. If none of the options or attempts work, please reach out to support.
