Two weeks ago I walked into the bathroom that was unlocked and walked in on my 16-year-old daughter masturbating. All I said was, 'Sorry, I didn't know it was busy.' As she was lying on the floor it was obvious what she was doing... To me it's a natural thing so I thought no more about it, and didn't mention it to her mother. She has been avoiding me since. Her mother noticed this and asked what was going on. I told her, and she said that's a very embarassing thing for a young girl, and not to worry she would soon be my friend again. I can't wait!!!

So my message to young people is that it's a natural thing that our body asks for, and there is no shame in masturbation. It's a private practice that sometimes accidentally is seen by others (parents). Don't be so embarassed that you lose your connection with them. Remember for them it's no big deal!! You're still the same person you allways were... The only thing that has changed is that I miss my best friend that I was beating at video games, and hearing what went good and bad in school, who was a weirdo and who was not, etc., etc., etc...
