Tell me why something like the following story almost never happens. I'm a straight, socially fully functional, nice-looking, oversexed guy who lives in Manhattan. Here's what never happens: I go shopping for girlie magazines. Another nice-looking normal guy is already there thumbing through one of the magazines. I remark to him that he might want to try a specific issue that I have just found particularly exciting. I pull it off the rack and hand it to him. He checks it out and agrees with me. We jointly (but briefly) admire some of the pictures. One of us says `I'm going to have to do something about this pretty soon. THis is very hot stuff.' I say `My place is only a few blocks away.
