Nurse Knows How to Ask The Right Questions

This weekend my neighbor had a party and invited me over. Of course I stopped over to say hi. There were some faces I remember meeting at previous gatherings and a few new ones. One of which was his new girl friend. He introduces her to me. I mention "happy holidays", to which she tells me it's not Christmas time. I tell her I use that line at any holiday, not just Christmas. She then goes on to tell me she doesn't get many holidays as she is a nurse.

The conversation continued and we quickly turned to things like sun exposure, daily vitamins, and a recent annual physical I recently had. Then almost out of the blue, she asks me if I am getting laid. I did not believe my ears and asked her to repeat her question. So she asked again if I was getting laid. A bit shocked at her forward question, she again repeated her question, asking if I was getting laid enough recently. Still tongue tied she goes into telling me that ever since she started dating my neighbor recently she has been getting hers and then some. She said it's important part of life and told me that the more I got the better life would be for me.

She then offered, without any prompting, told me at a last resort, even plenty of 'self love' as she added air quotes, helps as well.
I wanted to tell her good bye, as I had nurses orders to go beat off, to stay healthy.
