For those 30 and under.....

Post by mushroomhead »

You probably have no idea as to how jealous me and others my age (50) are. When you hit puberty, you had the internet available. I didnt get the net until I was 34 years old (1998). I can only imagine what things were like if I had the net at say age 12. At that age, I was VERY lucky to have seen a Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, or Oui magazine, thanks to my friend who borrowed his father's mags while father was at work. Heck, we didnt even have things such as Cinemax, Showtime, or HBO just to watch the soft porn. The first real tit flick I ever saw, and memory really is tough here, but I believe it might have been Hard Ticket to Hawaii when I was 23. I didnt get my first sex toy until I was 35 because I was to embarresed to go into a sex shop. Once I got the net, one of the first things I did was order a couple of dildos and lube and an enema bulb so I could pleasure myself analy. And of course, I was lookin at porn on the net more than anything else. I could just only dream, and I always do, as to what if I had the net at a younger age. Would I have beat myself off so much then that I would be less horny now? Would all the porn have helped me in life or hurt me? Would my first few times at sex with a woman have been better having knowing more than I did? Have to admit though that being clumsy at my first couple of times did actually make things better, I think.

Its just a totally different scenario for a generation of us seperated by the invention of the internet. Pretty much the 30 and younger crowd vs the rest of us. I just wish I could be 12 all over again and have what is available now when I first explored myself sexually.

I'm not 30 or under, but I know the feeling. If I would have had the internet before and during puberty I wouldn't have been able to keep my hand off my cock. Hell I could hardly keep my hand off my cock with just erotic stories and "nudie" magazines.

Im 38 and omg if the internet had been as available as it is now when i was a early teen i think my life would be completely differant
I take example from a girl a few year younger than me that thinks nothing of every week going out and pulling a different guy each week
I would love to relive my life 10 year later than i did

I am in the over 30 crowd and definitely see the benefits of the internet. Almost anything that you might want to see is available at any time.

However, I miss the intrigue of clandestinely purchasing smutty mags at a newsstand or adult book store. For me, obtaining porn mags or videos (once VHS launched) when it wasn't so easy added to the fun and excitement. Once a purchase was made there was the anticipation of getting home so I could browse through them and jack off.

Mushroomhead... you have no idea what it was like 20 years before your time when our 'porn' was the lingerie section of the Sears catalog and early Playboy. Porn in those days was so sanitized, that I freaked out at 16 seeing my mother naked in the bathroom and saw her large spread of black pubic hair. Every naked woman I'd seen until that point had their pubic areas completely airbrushed out.

Couple that with the fact that nobody discussed masturbation in those days so most of us were hiding our activities not wanting to be labeled as wankers.

Yes it was nice having porn readily available. But I actually preferred to read magazines and watch DVDs. It was safer then downloading porn. Now we have porn just streaming to our computers from sites or people we can watch abd chat with as we masturbate.

At 15 I was jacking off to advertisement pictures in newspapers. Just about any females in print were subject. In those days, 60s, teen girls wore extremely tight pants, short-shorts even. Their young, pretty cunts were outlined by the fabric. It left everything to the imagination. I used to see a group of these young beauties walking down the street and try not to stare too much. I went directly home and jacked off with images of their young cunts cooked on my young mind. So, 12 today would be quite a delight, but think of it as too much too soon. It wears out, leaves little to the imagination.

Looking back now, I'm actually glad I didn't have the 'net back when I was so young. Strip poker with the neighborhood girls, and laying back at first with a fashion magazine - Vogue, maybe? -getting excited by the lingerie models, and later with a Playboy or Penthouse when no one else was homw, I came to realize, when I was in my 30s, far more enjoyable & exciting than chasing porn on the computer as an adult. Of course I was no virgin teenager by the time I had the internet, but still, hardcore porn didn't, and still doesn't have the same allure for me that those mags had.

At a friend's house party when I was seventeen, I wandered into the den where a couple other guys had been watching The Playboy Channel or something like that, clearly porn, and were heading outside as whatever movie they had watched was ending. I knew of these channels, but my parents didn't subscribe to them and they were all scrambled on our receiver, so I sat down out of curiosity, and then saw my first "erotic" movie- Bilitis. Well, some of it. Actually, not very much. I pulled my swimsuit down and began masturbating when the girls stripped down and went skinny dipping, quickly pulled them back up when the scene ended, looked around to make sure I was alone (I was) and a few minutes later took my suit down again and frantically brought myself off when Bilitis & her rooommate made love in he bed.

As a college and grad student in the 80's swapping a few Playboy and Penthouse mags with friends to take home, and the next day or a couple days later when returning them and admitting which woman you'd cum to the previous night was ... just fun. None of us were virgins but we didn't have girlfriends then and it was reassuring knowing I wasn't alone doing what I did. Then, having my own apartment and getting up enough nerve to rent my first X-rated video from the local video shop, taking it home, stripping down in my living room and masturbating to orgasm three times watching the girl-girl scenes was by my standards then, pretty amazing and wild.

But today, with so much porn - of all kinds - on the 'net, not to mention softer stuff on streaming TV an DVD's I can't but wonder if, I mean, if you've seen ALL that as a kid or teenager, what are you going to be thinking as an adult about porn, or actual sex with another person?
