What's a "stud"?

Just wondering what makes a so-called stud. Size of dick? Number of conquests? Irresistible aura? All of that? Anything else? Started musing about this after sending my brother a birthday card that said, "You weren't called to the stud life." (Then inside) "The stud life called you. Happy birthday."

A sexy, good-looking, manly charmer that seems to attract women without even trying. Number of conquests then get added to his “black book”. (Aging myself with that one)
I personally don’t think it’s the dick size but the (as you say) irresistible aura of desire and satisfaction that surrounds him
That’s my 2 cents.
