Problems with Comments

I am still having problems where comments I make to stories are being chopped down. I recently tried to leave a comment that was around two and a half lines long and it was reduced to the first 3 or 4 words. Also if I then try to delete the comment it does disappear but if I go back to the story it's there again !!
