Hi - I received an alert in the little globe at the header saying someone commented on my profile. When I clicked view, the page refreshed and I am unable to find any new comments.

Same happened to me.
Who posted it?

Erikayh282 - I noticed that a lot of new profiles were signed up, all female, all with names like that (i.e. a woman's name with #s)... I wonder if they are all spam accounts. I don't remember, during sign up, is there some form of capcha coding to ensure bots can't sign up?

Also, I can only see comments from friends.
Not from others. I wonder how to change that?

There were several spam accounts that were set up recently and as soon as they are discovered they are deleted. So if you got a notification of a comment and couldn't find it, it was probably spam, and it and its author are gone.
