Experiences with remote vibrators

My wife is somewhat intrigued with using a strapped on remote vibrator (I.e. Butterfly) when we are in public. However she is skeptical. Would love to hear your experiences ( both male and female perspectives).

They sound good, but rarely deliver what you are aiming for. I have tried a few with my wife. We currently own a moxie and it is good, but it never gets the big O unless she really really wants it.
