Audio Alert for normal posts in Chat suggestion

Whisper mode has an audio alert that plays in chat. I think it would be beneficial to have an audio alert for just general posts as well. Many of us have the chat up and browse other web sites at the same time. I get the whisper alerts but miss the regular chats if I get involved in other sites. Of course, the way I get around it now is to open up two browser sessions but that can get awkward.
