Does Time of Day Matter?

Is there a particular time of the day that you find your orgasms to be stronger or more satisfying compared to others times of the day?

This is something I hadn't thought of before, so over the next couple of weeks I'll be comparing my orgasms at different times of the day to see if there is a difference or not.

To quote an old cliche it depends IMO whether you are a morning or evening/night person. When masturbating I get stronger erections and orgasms in the morning. I regard myself as a morning person.
The problem with night sessions alcohol comes into the equation, sorry about the pun.

My body so much more responsive before noon than I am in the evenings particularly on work days. My wife and I used to plan weekend mornings for sex which was her favorite time as well.

Some of my favorite times are before we get up for the day and are able to have a tumble in bed before breakfast.

Now that I'm in my 70s, I can get an erection much easier in the mornings than I can at night.

No! If I get the urge to cum,...I do!

Male testosterone levels are typically highest in the morning, lowest in the afternoon, which certainly could affect when a guy is horniest.

My wife is a urology nurse practitioner who routinely treats low T and says this is so. When taking a history from a patient with ED she commonly asks about morning erections (she said if the patient’s sex partner is present, they always know the answer, haha). No morning erections tends to indicate low T, but of course lab work is needed for a diagnosis.

I’m on T replacement therapy and periodic testing prefers blood sample be drawn before 10 AM, because that’s when levels are highest.

Interesting question. For decades I was an enthusiastic morning masturbator. In my senior years, I'm often better later in the morning, or early afternoon. Although any time of day is good, I'd say I'm always good right after lunch. Well, a little while after. Give things time to settle.

Preferably at night but any time of the day is ok when I get hard.

I never masturbate first thing when I wake up. This stretches right back to when I was a schoolboy. I found that if I ejaculated first thing it took the impetus out of the day and made me lethargic and lazy and I was keen to get the most out of school and perform well at sports. That didn't mean I didn't touch it! I would stroke it and tease it before I got dressed but not enough to cum. Later I found that for a proper session, late morning was a good time for a strong hardon and a good orgasm. As for sex, I've always enjoyed a late evening or night session best. The anticipation enhances the atmosphere and I find it easier to last longer later in the day.

I find that my orgasms in the morning tend to be kind of weak so I generally don’t masturbate until I’ve been up and awake for a while.

Same with if I go too long between orgasms. A lot of people talk about how the longer you go without cumming, the stronger the eventual orgasm will be. In my case, that’s not true. If I go longer than 3-4 days, the orgasm seems to get weaker by the day. The volume of semen is a lot more but the orgasm itself is pretty dull. Luckily, I very rarely get past two days without blowing a nut.

I may be wrong but for older people, (especially if they have to use viagra, cialis or levitra) it may be better to masturbate or have sex first thing in the morning. You should be rested after a nights sleep, have more energy and you won't have had a large meal nor alcohol.

At 70, I agree that morning is best. Harder erections and able to last longer, my orgasms seem more intense. But anytime is good!

I’m not as good as I once was but,
I’m good once as I ever was.

I usually wake up with morning wood, so like to masturbate in the morning. If the wife is still sleeping, I can have a good wank and bust a nut in my man cave before being disturbed.

If time and circumstances allow (wife away), I will edge and have a nice morning edging session reading ST and watching porn. This is also generally when I write stories and post on the forums about any new experiences and work myself into a frenzy reliving them before shooting my load.

I sometimes add in a session (or two) later in the day, but my best jack-off sessions are in the morning.

I'm an afternoon/evening masturbator too. Always have been. When I was young and very horny all the time I would masturbate first thing in the morning and the orgasms were weak and completely unsatisfying so i stopped doing that. It probably made school harder to deal with but I decided I would rather have a better orgasm and be satisfied.

Now that I'm older (mid 40's) I noticed that I have to stay on a schedule of every day or every other day. More than 2 days and I have the same issue of my orgasm being kinda dull. It was different when I was younger though. Sometimes I would purposely go 3 or 4 days. The orgasms would be mind blowing and I could then masturbate 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of days and they would all be great and it wouldn't tire me out at all. I once went a whole week without masturbating and then went a week straight where I came 2-3 times a day. I miss being young sometimes.

I don't think the time of day really matters with me. More depends on how long I can spend on it, which is usually in the morning if I'm off and can go for a couple hours and edge a few times. If I have the time at night and can spend a half hour or so it generally feels just as good. If I just rub one out in 5 or 10 minutes it's usually meh, no matter what time it is.

When I take care of business, which isn't as often as it should be, I tend to be an afternoon person. Occasionally in the night I have to go to the toilet for what isn't technically an excretory reason, but that's rare. I know some guys take care of things first thing. Unfortunately I generally need to pee too badly first thing, to risk making an early morning play the first thing I do.

Any time of day is good for a wank, but I'm usually hornier in the mornings.
