I have taught a course in Human Sexuality at a small, private liberal arts college in the northeast for more than five years. Masturbation is one of the topics we cover and this site was recommended to me by one of my (female!) students. I have enjoyed the various stories and have encouraged my students to visit your site and see how other people's fantasies and actual experiences compare with their own. Your readers may be interested in my (informal) poll over the years comparing female and male masturbation fantasies. When they are masturbating, 47 % of my female students fantasize about being watched by another woman; 31 % fantasize about being watched by a man or a group of men, 20 % fantasize about having intercourse with either a male student or teacher, and the rest (2-3% say they do not have any fantasies. Regarding the male students, more than 50 % (51%) say they fantasize about watching a female authority figure (teacher, political figure, friend's mother) masturbating herself, and 36 % say they fantasize about masturbating in front of a group of girls or women. Only 10-12% say they ever fantasize about having intercourse or watching couples having intercourse. All this basically tells me that masturbators fantasize primarily about masturbating! I wonder how my findings compare with your readers' experiences. I have told my class I am posting this on your site, and we will watch for responses. Thank you.B. C.Asst. Prof.
