I think my case is somewhat different in that my foreskin was too long and too tight. It was causing my pain when pulled all the way back during an erection and I had difficulty releasing it until I became flaccid. I read in horror about how they used a local to do an adult "circ" and I am very glad that they use a general where I live. I wouldn't have had it done otherwise.

I will admit that before I did enjoy masturbation but the only problem afterward was that I had nothing to slide over the glans. I purchased a sleeve for use now, but this is the only regret I have. I'd say, on the whole having it removed was a good thing.

I do have one recommendation to make to anybody that does have to get it removed: Find a caring person to take care of you afterward (and even beforehand.) Adult circumcision is physically painful and emotionally stressful. I had no one to take care of me during that time and I paid for it.
