HELPING OUR KIDS

I'm a bit concerned that everyone writes about his great feelings, etc. when he jacks off. I, too, enjoy wonderful feelings when I jack off. There's no doubt about that; we all enjoy pleasuring ourselves regardless of our age. In fact, as I sit here writing this I find myself getting the urge. I say this as one who can no longer get a hard-on nor can I shoot due to both prostate surgery and diabetes. I most certainly can still get that 'wonderful feeling' with a dry orgasm...in fact, I sometimes think these dry ones are more powerful and more pleasant than the ones I used to get in former times...and certainly less messy.

In Solo Touch, I read submissions from a number of the older generation who are in the same position as I am due to prostate surgery and/or diabetes. Unfortunately, their submissions are generally the same as those from the younger group. Pleasure, pleasure, and more pleasure.

Very few seem to be interested in helping kids as they grow up with providing full explanations of the growing sex process BEFORE things begin to happen to them...wet dreams, hard-ons, intercourse, etc. I speak from personal experience in this regard, too. I had a single mother who would never speak about sexual matters nor did she have someone else explain these things to me. I knew nothing about what was happening to me. What I learned, I learned from outsiders or from the gutter.

I especially urge all of us in the older generation to be concerned more about helping kids to grow than how much we enjoyed our last jack off session...even though that may also be true. I especially urge that middle age group to likewise be concerned about helping our younger people to get the facts BEFORE things happen. Many of this middle group may be fathers. Did you sit down with your kid and honestly and completely explain things. Did you explain to him that many of these things are perfectly natural and to be expected. Did you explain that things like wet dreams should not scare them (they sure did scare the hell out of me).

So, that's my hope. I don't intend to insult anyone and certainly we can still enjoy our own jack off sessions but let's also be concerned about our young people wherever we can do so.
